Happiness is so...fickle.  Something to be enjoyed but is a bit fruitless to grasp for.  Fun to create, though...especially for kids.   Fortunately, unhappiness is fickle too.  Especially if we recognize it as temporal and powerless.  Joy and despair on the other hand...more umph.  My attachments to things, places, and possessions have brought happiness at times, unhappiness at times, but never joy or despair...and rarely meaning.  (and meaning only when connected somehow to relatioships.)  Attachments to people, to ideals, to community and to God (she is after all, a God of connections) have brought lots of joy, a little despair, and in the end, meaning.  All depends on how you define attachments and connections, I guess.
